Oral Surgery

Need to have oral surgery? We can help! Dr. Bayard performs oral surgery in the office for a wide range of reasons, including:

Placing a dental implant or implants. Dental implants are a great way to replace natural teeth lost by injury, tooth decay or other reasons. Implants look, feel and function like your natural teeth!

Placing posts for dentures. Implant supported dentures are increasing in popularity for a variety of reasons, including comfortable and stability.

Removal of an impacted tooth, especially wisdom teeth. When a tooth is blocked by another tooth or tissue, this can cause pain and bite problems.

Removal of a decayed or damaged tooth. If a tooth becomes damaged from decay, injury or other situation, it may need to be surgically removed.

Correction of bite dysfunction. Oral surgery can help correct malocclused bites which can help improve oral health and jaw function.

Repair of soft tissues, such as the palate or gums. Oral surgery can help repair malformed tissue or injured tissue.

Health conditions. In some cases, surgery can help repair or treat serious health conditions including sleep apnea, oral infections and facial pain caused by bite/jaw dysfunction or temporomandibular joint disorder.

Removal of tumors, lesions or other growths. Surgery can help remove both benign and harmful growths.
